Nuevamente los Canastras estan con todo en el rally dos Sertoes trabajando por el medioambeinte este anio con el lema "deje todo como lo encontro". El rally dos Sertoes es uno de los rallies mas importantes de la America Latina y el equipo Canastra hace un trabajo ambiental muy importante.
El objetivo principal del equipo Canastra es dar continuidad al trabajo ya reconocido e ir perfeccionando no solamente la recoleccion de residuos sino tambien la remosion de residuos provenientes de accidentes con los vehiculos de competencias. Estos accidentes pueden dejar vidrios quebrados, pedazos de hierro, fibra, bumpers o parachoques, puertas y aceites, que este equipo va recolectando por toda la trilla. Los niños piden a gritos que ayudemos al Planeta

Durante una visita a Costa Rica hace un par de meses, me encontré con un parquet cerca de la playa Brasilito, en el pacifico Norte de este ambiental país, y me encontré con una colección de carteles alusivos al medioambiente y que poco a poco iré colgando en este blog. Lo particular de todo era que son carteles pintados por niños de escuelas de lugares que si respetan el medioambiente.

Medio Ambiente y motociclismo en la maravillosa Isla de Cuba..

Que gusto legionarios, saber de acciones como las que Cuba inicio bajo el lema de la campana por un mundo en Armonía. De hecho he decidido crear un espacio para estas actividades y publicarlas permanentemente en el blog. El proyecto se llama "La EMICCH por un mundo en armonía", promovido por la escudería de motores ingleses clásicos de la Ciudad de la Habana. Hay un reportaje competo en su página web de las cuales les copio el link directamente para que lo visiten y puedan constatar todas las actividades realizadas. Una de las cosas que más me ha llamado la atención, es que cada uno de los pilotos ha firmado un libro de compromiso (del cual podrán ver fotos). En este sitio también podrán encontrar un link para que lean y puedan bajar todo el trabajo impreso y todo lo que harán durante este año. Esta primera acción ambiental comenzó con la limpieza de la cuenta del Rio Almendares y una caravana de pilotos. Actividad Ambiental en Catalunya

Quiero comentarles que 5 representantes de la clase 250 c.c y que participaran en el GP de Catalunya este fin de semana, fueron participes de una gira ecologia por una planta recicladora cerca del circuito.
Entre los asistentes se encontraban Alvaro Bautista y Tuki Takahashi, Sergio Gadea, Stefan Bradi y Rafaelle de Rosa. Todos ellos lucieron una camiseta con el nuevo logo ambiental presentado por la FIM.

Top Riders de trial Plantan Arboles en Japon

Next week sees the 2008 World Environment Day, when the United Nations actively promotes awareness of issues affecting the environment.

The FIM SPEA World Trial Championship and the organisers of this weekend’s Weider Japanese Grand Prix did their part, by arranging a tree-planting ceremony at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit, attended by local dignitaries and the top three riders in the championship.

The FIM is one of the first international sporting federations to join the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and along with the organisers of this weekend’s event, planted a series of six trees in the circuit’s ‘Hello Woods’ complex, itself designed to promote awareness of nature.

The FIM SPEA Trial World Championship is one of seven FIM series taking place this weekend around the World and all seven will mark next week’s World Environment Day in a similar way, by heightening awareness of the FIM’s objectives of developing more environmentally friendly motorcycle motorsport.

The FIM Jury President of the event, Anders Minken, explained: “The FIM is working hard to develop ways to reduce the environmental impact of motorsport. We are looking into various forms of alternative energy to make motorcycle motorsport more friendly and sustainable for the future.”

Six trees were planted in total, surrounding the stunning waterfall that forms section seven of this weekend’s trial. The Weider Japanese Grand Prix will take place over Saturday and Sunday, and will mark both the last two day competition of this year’s campaign, and will be the final fly away event of the 2008 series.
